Halogen Bulb - Headlight – LH (Remove and Replace)

Removal

  1. If the vehicle has air suspension, set ride height to Jack mode: Controls > Suspension > Jack
  2. Remove the LH underhood apron (refer to procedure).
  3. Disconnect the LH headlight connector.
  4. Remove the LH front wheel (refer to procedure).
  5. Remove the LH front louver assembly (refer to procedure).
  6. Remove the headlight cover.
  7. Release the halogen bulb lock collar by rotating counterclockwise.
  8. Remove the halogen bulb from the headlight housing.
  9. Carefully separate the connector from the base of the halogen bulb.

Installation

  1. Connect the connector to the new halogen bulb.
  2. Align the tabs of the new halogen bulb to the corresponding locations in the headlight housing.

    Note
    Make sure that there are no wires from the headlight assembly in between the bulb and the socket.
  3. Rotate the halogen bulb lock collar clockwise to secure it in the housing.

    Verify the halogen bulb is fully installed with an audible click.
  4. Install the headlight cover.
  5. Reinstall the LH front louver assembly (refer to procedure).
  6. Reinstall the LH front wheel (refer to procedure).
  7. Reconnect the LH headlight connector.
  8. Reinstall the LH underhood apron (refer to procedure).
