Base - Armrest - Center Console (Remove and Replace)

Removal

  1. Release the clips (x4) that secure the center console front trim. Disconnect the temperature sensor and remove the cup holder front trim.
  2. Remove the center console vent (refer to procedure).
  3. On the LH and RH sides of the center console, release the top clips (x3) that secure the rear wrapped center console panel.
    Note
    Components have been removed in this graphic to aid clarity.
    CAUTION
    Take care not to damage component(s).
  4. On each side of the center console, remove the screws (x3) that secure the armrest base to the center console carrier (torque 2.5 Nm).

    Components have been removed in this graphic to aid clarity.
  5. Remove the rubber cup holder insert.
    Tip
    Place a cloth over the cup holder mat and release it from the center console using needle nose pliers.
  6. Remove the screws (x2) inside the cup holder (torque 2.5 Nm).
  7. Remove the armrest base and set it on a padded surface.

Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
