Mount - Motor - Side (Remove and Replace)

Removal

Remove drive unit assembly:
- Large drive units: refer to procedure
- Small drive units: refer to procedure

Using suitable lifting equipment, support the drive unit.
WarningTo avoid personal injury, use appropriate equipment when performing this operation.
- Remove the bolt that secures the mount to the subframe (torque 90 Nm).
- Maneuver the mount from the subframe bracket and remove it.
Installation
Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following:
CAUTION
Replace all patchbolt(s).
- Maneuver the mount into position. Install the bolt that secures the mount to the subframe, but do not torque at this time.
- Install the bolts (x3) that secure the mount to the drive unit (torque 22 Nm).
- Check the vehicle wheel alignment, and adjust if necessary. See Four Wheel Alignment Check (Coil Suspension) or Four Wheel Alignment Check (Air Suspension).
