  4. Remove bolts securing sliding glass to vehicle

  6. Gently lift up the rear section of the left side roof applique to release the clips and remove the left roof applique

  7. Add a mark to the underside of the left applique to indicate that it has been removed

    The 2nd generation side applique can only be removed and reinstalled 10 times before it must be replaced due to damage to the clips, If there are already 9 or more marks on the underside of the applique, replace it
  8. Move panoramic sliding glass front links fully forward

  34. Remove bolts securing LH roof motor

  35. Separate LH sunroof motor from motor block

  71. Connect laptop to vehicle with a tethered Ethernet connection via Toolbox 3

    1x connector, 2x clips, Newer models will access connector below MCU with cubby removed, Older models will access port at LH side of IP with end cap removedOpen Toolbox 3 website and establish connection to vehicle: https://toolbox.teslamotors.com, Select connection status icon at top right corner and select Connect Locally (icon will turn green when vehicle is connected), Local connection will enable service mode plus on display
  72. Select ‘Actions’ tab and search for ‘Calibrate Sunroof’
  73. Select ‘Calibrate sunroof’, click ‘Run’, and allow routine to complete

  74. Disconnect Toolbox from vehicle and install cubby under MCU

  75. Operate sliding glass and verify that glass does not shudder while opening or closing
  76. Raise all four windows
