Condenser - Sub-Cool - RH (Remove and Replace)
Correction Code 18201102

Note
This procedure requires the A/C
Refrigerant (Recovery and Recharge) procedure to be performed. If not already
automatically added to the Service Visit, add correction code 18200102 as a
separate activity to the Service Visit.
Removal
- Recover the refrigerant from the vehicle. See A/C Refrigerant Recovery and Recharge (Remove and Replace) .
- Remove front aero shield panel (refer to procedure)
- Remove front RH wheel arch liner (refer to procedure)

Remove bolts (x2) securing front
bumper panel support bar and remove (torque 11 Nm).

Remove nuts (x2) securing two air
conditioning pipes (inboard) to condenser (torque 8 Nm).

Release pipes and tie
aside.
CAUTIONPlug pipe connections to prevent ingress of moisture or dirt.CAUTIONRemove and discard O-rings.
- Disconnect condenser fan motor connector.

Remove the screws (x4) that
attach the condenser brackets (torque 3 Nm).
- Rear Wheel Drive - 4 bolts on the bottom of the fan.
- Dual Motor - 4 bolts on top of the fan.
- Release condenser from the mounting and collect the brackets.

Release condenser from upper
mounting and remove assembly from vehicle.
CAUTIONExercise care when removing condenser to avoid damage.

Remove bolts (x4) securing fan
motor assembly to condenser and separate from fan assembly (torque 6 Nm).
Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following:
NoteClean the affected areas before installation.CAUTIONLubricate new O-rings with clean refrigerant oil.
- Recharge the vehicle refrigerant. See A/C Refrigerant Recovery and Recharge (Remove and Replace) .
- Perform the thermal system test. See Cooling System - Thermal Test.
