Actuator - Pedestrian Protection - LH - 2nd Generation (Remove and Replace)
Correction Code 20300112
- 2024-04-25: Updated Toolbox routines to be run after replacing the actuator.
Warning
If the 12V power
supply is disconnected, do not attempt to open any doors with door glass in
closed position. Failure to follow this instruction could result in door glass
shatter.
Note
Before
disconnecting the 12V power supply, ensure that the driver’s door window is
fully open. Failure to follow this instruction could result in vehicle
lockout.
Note
This procedure does not currently apply
to North American vehicles.
Note
In the event of an airbag or seat belt tensioner deployment, certain airbag and seat belt components must be replaced, and other components must be inspected for damage. Refer to SRS Inspection and Component Replacement for a specific list of items that must be inspected and replaced.
Removal
