Hose - Windshield Washer (Remove and Replace)

Removal

  1. Open the hood.
  2. Remove the LH front wheel. See Wheel (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the rear half of the LH front wheel arch liner. See Wheel Arch Liner - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  4. Disconnect the washer hose from the jump hose and release the washer hose clip.
  5. Lower the vehicle to a comfortable working height and set the lift onto locks.
  6. Remove the clips (x7) that secure the hood harness to the hood assembly.
  7. Disconnect the hose couplings (x2), and then remove the LH and RH washer jet hoses.
  8. Remove the tapes (x9) that secure the washer hose and the hood harness, and then remove the washer hose from the hood.

Installation

  1. Place the washer hose on the hood.
  2. Connect the washer hose to the jump hose, and then secure the washer hose clip.
  3. Install the tapes (x9) that secure the washer hose and the hood harness.
  4. Connect the hose couplings (x2) to install the LH and RH washer jet hoses.
  5. Install the clips (x7) that secure the hood harness to the hood assembly.
  6. Raise the vehicle to a comfortable working height and set the lift onto locks.

    CAUTION

    Make sure there is an audible click of the locks on both sides before lowering, otherwise the vehicle may tilt to one side.

    Make sure that the doors are clear of surrounding objects.

  7. Install the rear half of the LH front wheel arch liner. See Wheel Arch Liner - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  8. Install the LH front wheel. See Wheel (Remove and Replace).
  9. Close the hood.
  10. Remove the vehicle from the lift.
