Seatback Assembly - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Install)

Correction Code 13054001

Removal

  1. Remove the LH rear seat bolster. See Bolster - Side - Seat - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace) .
  2. Remove rear seat base cushion for access. See Seat Cushion - Lower - 2nd Row (Remove and Install) .

    CAUTION
    Before continuing, place a protective cover over the 2nd row seat frame to prevent damage to seat upholstery.
  3. Fold the seatback down.
  4. Remove the bolt that secures the seat belt to the 2nd row seat base frame (torque 40 Nm).

    CAUTION
    This bolt is a one time use component. Ensure that a new bolt is used during reinstallation.
  5. Release LH rear seatback rest pivot retaining clip.
  6. Release the pivot from the retaining bracket.
  7. Slightly lift the outboard side of the rear seatback rest and release it from the inner pivot retaining bracket.
  8. Remove rear seatback rest assembly and place it on a padded surface.

Installation

  1. Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
