Follow the steps below to dispose of a pyrotechnic battery fuse if local laws or
regulations require disposal of separate materials
Procedure

Remove the nut (7 mm) that
attaches the pyrotechnic fuse cable to the contact plate.

Release the connector from the pyrotechnic fuse assembly.

Release the tabs (x2) to remove the insulator cover from the pyrotechnic
fuse.
NotePush the front tab, and then pull the rear tab.

Remove the nuts (x4, 7 mm) that attach the fuses to the pyrotechnic fuse
assembly, and then remove the fuses.

Separate the case from the pyrotechnic fuse.

Loosen the nuts (x2, 13 mm) that attach the pyrotechnic module to the
pyrotechnic fuse assembly.

Release the tabs (x3) that secure the lower cover to the pyrotechnic fuse
case, and then remove the lower cover.

Loosen the screws (x3, T7) that attach the logic board to the pyrotechnic
fuse case ,and then remove the logic board.

Use a plastic trim tool to break the welds of the batteries, and then
remove the batteries from the logic board.

Sort all components and correctly dispose the separate components according
to local regulations.
