Premium Console Sub-assembly (Remove and Replace)
Correction Code 15197002
- 2023-11-30: Added steps to remove the wireless charger assembly from the center console sub-assembly.
Removal
- Open all four doors and lower all four windows.
- Move the front seats backward.
- Remove the cubby tray below the touchscreen.

On both sides of the premium
center console sub-assembly, carefully release the clips that secure the
side trim panel.

Carefully release the clips
that secure the front trim panel to the center console.
- Disconnect the electrical harness from the cabin temperature sensor connector, and then remove the front console panel.
- Apply masking tape to the front of the cup holder trim to avoid damage during removal.
- Remove the premium console dividers (x4) and the front mat from the console sub-assembly.
- Open the center console phone dock door, and then disconnect the wireless charger USB electrical connector and release the cable from the clips.

Remove the bolts that secure the middle of the console to body (torque 3
Nm).
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 in extension
- 10 mm deep socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench

Remove the screws that
secure the console sub-assembly to the center console carrier (torque 2.5
Nm).
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 3 in extension
- T20 socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- Remove the premium center console sub-assembly from the vehicle.
- Remove the phone dock mat from the premium center console sub-assembly.

Remove the screws that
attach the phone dock adapter to the vehicle, and then remove the phone dock
adapter from the vehicle (torque 0.28 Nm).
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- PH1 Phillips Screwdriver

Lift up on the sides of the
wireless charger assembly, and then release it from the dock door.
NoteTilt the dock door as required.

Remove the sliding lid from
the center console sub-assembly by sliding it towards the rear of the
sub-assembly and lifting up once the clips are released from the holes in
the sub-assembly.
Installation
Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following:

Remove the masking tape from the front of the cup holder trim.
