Remove

  1. Open LH front door
  2. Lower LH front window
  3. Support LH front door with floor jack

    Protect painted surface with soft object
  4. Apply tape around the perimeter of the hinge

    This will help with alignment during installation
  5. Remove LH front door upper hinge bolts from door assembly

    2x bolts, 13mm, 31 Nm
  6. Remove LH front door upper hinge bolts from body

    4x bolts, 13mm, 52 Nm
  7. Remove LH front upper door hinge

    slowly lower the floor jack to make room to remove the hinge

Install

  1. Install LH front upper door hinge

    Align LH front upper door hinge to original position
  2. Install LH front door upper hinge bolts to body

    4x bolts, 13mm, 52 Nm
  3. Install LH front door upper hinge bolts to door assembly

    2x bolts, 13mm, 31 Nm
  4. Remove floor jack from LH front door
  5. Check gap and flush of front door to surrounding components

    Note
    Refer to CVIS for current gap/flush targets
  6. Clean body side upper hinge bolts with IPA
    Informational PurposesAn informational icon, calling your attention
    Note
    Allow 1 minute for IPA to dry
  7. Apply touch up paint to body side upper hinge bolts
  8. Remove tape around the perimeter of the hinge
  9. Raise LH front window
  10. Close LH front door
