Seal - Outer Belt - Front Door - LH (Remove and Replace)

Removal

  1. Lower the LH front window fully.
  2. Using a suitable tool release the LH front door outer belt seal, starting at the mirror and working backwards.

    Protect paintwork from possible damage during this procedure.

    CAUTION
    Take care not to damage component(s).
  3. Release the hook end from door skin and remove rear end of seal.

Installation

  1. Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
  2. In the event of seal being damaged at rear end, it will be necessary to replace component.
  3. Check for smooth operation when opening and closing window glass.
