Sensor Cluster - ESC (Remove and Replace)
Correction Code 33101502
Removal
- Remove the center console assembly. See Center Console Assembly (Remove and Replace) .
- Disconnect the electrical harness from the ESC sensor cluster connector.
- Carefully cut the acoustic padding covering the ESC sensor cluster.
- Peel back the acoustic padding to expose the ESC sensor cluster.
- Remove the nuts (x2) that attach the ESC sensor cluster to the body.
- Remove the ESC sensor cluster from the vehicle.
Installation
- Install the ESC sensor cluster to the body.
- Install the nuts (x2) that attach the ESC sensor cluster to the body (torque 6 Nm).
- Position the acoustic padding back over the ESC sensor cluster, and then secure the edges of the padding with tape.
- Connect the electrical harness to the ESC sensor cluster connector.
- Install the center console assembly. See Center Console Assembly (Remove and Replace) .
- Connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle.
- Update the vehicle firmware. See Firmware Update.
- In Toolbox 3, click the Actions tab, type "ESP-CONFIG" into the search field, click PROC_ESP_X_ESP-CONFIGvia Toolbox: (link), click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
- Disconnect the laptop from the vehicle.
