Drive Unit - Rear - Small (Remove and Replace)

Removal
- Remove the small rear drive unit. See Drive Unit - Rear - Small (Remove and Install).
Installation
- Install the small rear drive unit. See Drive Unit - Rear - Small (Remove and Install).
- Update the vehicle firmware. See Firmware Update.
- Connect a laptop to the diagnostic port of the vehicle, and then use Toolbox 3 to locally connect to the vehicle. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect).
- Unlock the vehicle gateway for diagnostic communication. See Gateway Unlock.

Using Toolbox 3:
- Select the Actions tab and search for "immobilizer reset".
- Select the ODIN routine PROC_DI_X_IMMOBILIZER-RESETvia Toolbox: (link), and then click the link of the routine.
- Click RUN, and allow the routine to complete.
- For China, Japan and Korea only: Carefully remove the old motor label from the hood, and install a new motor label to match the new motor information.
