Harness - Lower Dash (Remove and Replace)

Removal
- Remove the cross car beam. See Cross Car Beam (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the body control module. See Module - Body Controller - BCM (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the RH sun visor. See Sun Visor - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the RH upper B-Pillar trim panel. See Trim - B-Pillar - Upper - LH (Remove and Install).
- Remove the fastener that secures the RH middle section of the headliner
- Disconnect the lower dash harness connectors on the RH A-Pillar.
- If equipped, disconnect the electrical connector from the RH panoramic roof motor.
- Disconnect the lower dash harness connectors on the RH front door. Release any clips that secure the lower dash harness.
- Release the lower dash harness ground nut on the RH A-Pillar. Remove the lower dash harness from the A-Pillar.
- Disconnect all electrical connectors that connect the lower dash harness to the RH body harness.
- Disconnect the lower dash harness electrical connectors from the thermal controller.
- Disconnect the lower dash harness electrical connectors from the HVAC controller.
- Disconnect the lower dash harness electrical connectors from the PTC heater.
- Remove the HVAC blower motor. See Blower Motor - HVAC (Remove and Replace).
- If equipped, remove the air suspension module. See Module - Air Suspension - ECU (Remove and Install).
- Disconnect the electrical connectors from the passive safety restraint control module (PSRCM).
- Release the lower dash harness ground nut from behind the air suspension module. Release any clips that secure the lower dash harness.
- Disconnect the acceleration pedal electrical connector. Release any clips that secure the lower dash harness.
- Disconnect the acceleration pedal electrical connector. Release any clips that secure the lower dash harness.
- Disconnect all electrical connectors that connect the lower dash harness to the LH body harness.
- Disconnect the antenna connector from the lower dash harness to the LH body harness.
- If equipped, disconnect the electrical connector from the LH panoramic roof motor. Release any clips that secure the lower dash harness.
- Disconnect the lower dash harness connectors on the LH front door. Release any clips that secure the lower dash harness.
- Remove the particulate filter. See Filter - Particulate (Remove and Replace).
- Disconnect all electrical connectors from the 12V battery mounted fusebox.
- Remove the RH shock tower brace. See Shock Tower Brace - LH (Remove and Replace).
- If equipped, release the fasteners that secure the air suspension reservoir and move it out of the working area.
- Release the fasteners that secure the front fuse box to the cross car beam.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors that connect the lower dash harness to the LH front harness. Release any clips that secure the lower dash harness.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors from the HV Battery heater. Release any clips that secure the lower dash harness.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors from the DCDC converter. Release any clips that secure the lower dash harness.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from battery coolant pump 1. Release any clips that secure the lower dash harness.
- If equipped, disconnect the electrical connector from the forward junction box.
- If equipped, disconnect the front RH ride height sensor. Release any clips that secure the lower dash harness.
- Disconnect the RH side marker light. Release any clips that secure the lower dash harness.
- Release the nuts that secure the lower dash harness cover. Release any clips that secure the lower dash harness.
- Release the fasteners that secure the coolant reservoir.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the compressor.
- Disconnect the ground strap from the compressor.
- Disconnect the coolant level sensor.
- Disconnect the intelligent battery sensor. Release any clips that secure the lower dash harness.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from battery coolant pump 2. Release any clips that secure the lower dash harness.
- If equipped, disconnect the electrical connector from the vacuum brake booster.
- If equipped, disconnect the electrical connector from the TXV valve.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the RH condenser fan. Release any clips that secure the lower dash harness.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the RH headlight. Release any clips that secure the lower dash harness.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the RH headlight. Release any clips that secure the lower dash harness.
- If equipped, disconnect the front wheel speed sensor.
- Remove the lower dash harness from the vehicle.
Installation
Installation is reverse of removal, except for the following:
- Transfer the fuse box relays from the old harness to the new one.
- Perform a panoramic roof calibration.
- Test drive the vehicle.
