Hose Assembly - Rocker Side - Rear Drive Unit - LH (Remove & Replace)
Correction code 18303702
Removal
- Open all doors and lower all windows.
- Move both front seats fully forward.
- Remove the 2nd row seat cushion, and then lift up and support seat bottom frame. See Frame - Seat Base - 2nd Row Cushion (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the LH and RH underhood aprons. See Underhood Apron - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
- Power off the vehicle.
- Disconnect the 12V power and first responder loop. See Disconnect 12V Power.
- Raise and support the vehicle. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
- Remove the LH front wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).

Remove the nut (torque 4 Nm) and clips
(x5) that attach the rear half of the LH front wheel arch liner to the body, and then move
the rear half of the arch liner to the front side of the rotor.
- Put a coolant catcher underneath the front of the vehicle.

Clamp the coolant hose that is connected
to the powertrain coolant pump.

Clamp the coolant hose that is connected
to the charger and the rear drive unit.

Release the hose clamp that attaches the
front end of the LH rocker side hose assembly.

Release the hose clamp that attaches the
rear end of the LH rocker side hose assembly.
NotePlace absorbent material under the hose assembly to catch any spilled coolant.

Release the grommet for the LH rocker
side hose assembly from the body.

Pull the LH rocker side hose assembly
to the rear, and then pull it out from the rear LH side of the vehicle.
Install
- Push the LH rocker side hose assembly through the rocker cavity, and then seat the grommet into the cavity.
- Top up the coolant and run the coolant air purge routine. See Cooling System - Check and Fill.
