B-Pillar Trim Panel - LH (Remove and Replace)

Special tools required for this procedure:

Removal
- Open both LH doors.
- Remove the LH lower B-pillar cover using Assembly Wedge Part L.
- Remove the screws (x2) that attach the B-pillar trim panel to the body.
- Release the B-pillar seals from the B-pillar trim panel.

Pry the LH B-pillar trim panel away from the body starting at the bottom using Assembly Wedge Part G and L.
NoteThe B-pillar trim panel is attached to the body with two strips of double-sided tape.
- Pull down to release the LH B-pillar trim panel from the upper clips.

If the vehicle is equipped with a camera, hold the LH B-pillar trim panel away from the body, and then disconnect the camera electrical connector.
CAUTIONThe camera harness does not have much slack.
- Remove the LH B-pillar trim panel from the vehicle.
Installation
- Remove any remaining adhesive, and then clean the LH B-pillar area with an isopropyl alcohol (IPA) wipe and allow the surface to dry.
- Remove the lower cover from the new B-pillar trim panel.
- Peel the backing from the double-sided tape on the new LH B-pillar trim panel.
- If the vehicle is equipped with a camera, connect the camera electrical connector.
- Slide the B-pillar trim panel up into the clips, and then press the B-pillar trim panel into the B-pillar to secure double-sided tape.
- Install the screws (x2) that attach the B-pillar trim panel to the body (torque 4 Nm).

Attach the LH B-pillar seals to the LH B-pillar trim panel.
NoteUse P-80 emulsifier to assist with the seal installation.

Reinstall the lower cover over the bottom of the LH B-pillar trim panel.
NoteMake sure that all clips are fully seated.
- Close both LH doors.
