Module - Air Suspension - ECU (RHD) (Remove and Install)

Warning
If the 12V power supply is disconnected, do not attempt to open any doors with door glass in closed position. Failure to follow this instruction could result in door glass shatter.

Note
Before disconnecting the 12V power supply, ensure that the driver’s door window is fully open. Failure to follow this instruction could result in vehicle lockout.

Removal

  1. Move the passenger seat to its rearmost position.
  2. Disconnect 12V power. See Disconnect 12V Power .
  3. Remove the LH footwell cover (refer to procedure).
  4. Remove the LH sill panel trim (refer to procedure).
  5. Carefully peel back the front LH carpet for access.

    CAUTION
    Take care not to damage component(s).
  6. Remove the bolts (x3) that secure the module cover panel (torque 2 Nm).

    Note
    If necessary, move the acoustic pad aside for access.
  7. Release the bolts (x3) that secure the ECU bracket (torque 8 Nm).
  8. Disconnect the harness connectors (x2) from the front of the ECU.
  9. Gently lift up on the bracket and remove the ECU from the vehicle.

    Note
    At this point, the ECU is free from the vehicle. Refer to Service Manual procedure 31100202 to remove the bracket from the ECU.
