Cover - Outer Side - Driver's Seat (Remove and Install)

Correction Code 13074001

Choose the appropriate procedure based on the vehicle's configuration:

  • For vehicles with option code FR03, refer to Base Seats.
  • For vehicles with option code FR04, refer to Premium Seats.

Base Seats

Removal

  1. Open both driver's side doors.
  2. Power the seat height adjust fully upwards and rearwards for access.
  3. Remove the screw that secures the front of the cover to the seat (torque 1 Nm).
  4. Power the seat fully forward.

    Note
    The headrest might contact the headliner.
  5. Remove the screw that secures the outer side cover to the seat (torque 1 Nm).
  6. Carefully release the outer side cover from the retaining bracket.
  7. Reposition the outer side cover and disconnect the seat control switch connectors and harnesses (x3).
  8. Release the clips (x3) that secure the seat harness to the cover.
  9. Remove the outer side cover assembly.

Installation

  1. Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.

Premium Seats

Removal

  1. Remove the driver's seat back cover (refer to procedure).
  2. Release the fastener that secures the side trim (torque 1.25 Nm).
  3. Move the seat to its forwardmost position.
  4. Gently pull the side trim away from the seat and disconnect the harness.

Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
