Removal

Use a towel and/or compressed air to clean the liftgate area surrounding the carbon fiber spoiler.
WarningTo avoid personal injury, eye protection must be worn while using compressed air.

Starting from one end of the carbon fiber spoiler, carefully use the badge removal kit to release the carbon fiber spoiler from the liftgate.
CAUTIONCare must be taken to avoid damage to paintwork and exterior trim.
- Use a vacuum to remove any debris or dirt from the liftgate.

Using a rubber wheel, remove any remaining adhesive from the liftgate.
CAUTIONCare must be taken to avoid damage to paintwork and exterior trim.
- Use alcohol wipes to clean the liftgate where the carbon fiber spoiler will be installed.

Inspect the liftgate for any markings.
CAUTIONThe new carbon fiber spoiler may be slightly smaller than the one originally installed if it is a different part number. Any markings or issues should be corrected before installing a smaller spoiler.
Installation
Note
Ensure the liftgate is clean and dry before installing the carbon fiber spoiler.

Place the LH and RH spoiler alignment jigs on the liftgate.
Tip: Consider securing the alignment jigs to the liftgate with masking tape.
- Remove the backing from the adhesive on the bottom of the carbon fiber spoiler.

Position the carbon fiber spoiler on the liftgate:
- Working outwards from the center of the carbon fiber spoiler, firmly press down on the carbon fiber spoiler. Ensure the entire carbon fiber spoiler is fully adhered to the liftgate and that all air bubbles are released.
- Remove the LH and RH spoiler alignment jigs (and masking tape, if used) from the liftgate.
- Use alcohol wipes to remove any remaining adhesive from the liftgate.
