Actuator - Cinching (Remove and Replace)

Correction Code 11352202

  • 2023-09-26: Added new images and performed general cleanup.

Removal

  1. Open liftgate and secure at working height.
  2. Remove the lower rear window liftgate finisher. See Finisher - Liftgate - Rear Window - Lower (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the screws (x3) that attach the cinch motor to the liftgate.
    5 Nm (3.7 lbs-ft)
  4. Disconnect the harness connector.
  5. Position cinching motor for access to latch release cable. Release cable from abutment and disconnect inner cable from motor.

Installation

  1. Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.

    Replace all patchbolt(s).
