Active Louver - Front Fascia - LH (Remove and Replace)
Correction Code 18503002
Removal
- Remove the front fascia assembly See Fascia Assembly - Front (Remove and Install) .

Disconnect the louver actuator connector, and then release the electrical harness edge clip (x1).

Remove the screws (x3) that attach the active louver to the fog light and front fascia assembly (torque 1 Nm).
NoteEuropean vehicles built after February 19, 2019 have 4 screws attaching the active louver to the fog light and front fascia assembly (torque 1 Nm).

Remove the louver assembly from the front fascia: From the inside of the fascia, lift the outboard side of the louver, and then slide it out.
CAUTIONUse care not to damage the chrome bezel on the louver during removal.
Installation
Note
Clean the affected areas before
installation.

Install the new louver assembly: Slide the inboard side of the louver into position, and then pivot the outboard edge to fully seat the louver assembly.

Install the screws (x3) that attach the active louver to the fog light and front fascia assembly (torque 1 Nm).
NoteEuropean vehicles built after February 19, 2019 have 4 screws attaching the active louver to the fog light and front fascia assembly (torque 1 Nm).

Reconnect the louver actuator connector, and then install the electrical harness edge clip (x1).
- Reinstall the front fascia assembly See Fascia Assembly - Front (Remove and Install) .

After all components are
reinstalled, connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle and perform the
following:
In Toolbox 3, click the Actions tab, type "Louver-Calibration" into the search field, click PROC_THC_X_LOUVER-CALIBRATIONSearch for routine in ToolboxLouver Calibration, click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
- Disconnect the laptop from the vehicle.
