Rigid Pipe - Brake Caliper - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace)

Warning
If the vehicle has air
suspension, activate "Jack" mode on the touchscreen before raising and
supporting the vehicle.
Removal
- Remove the rear LH wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install) .
- Place an oil drain container under the LH rear brake caliper.
- Clean the area around the LH rear rigid pipe and brake caliper with brake cleaner, and then wipe off any residual brake cleaner.

Remove the nuts (x2) that attach the LH rear rigid pipe to the LH rear brake caliper, and then remove the pipe from the vehicle.
NoteIf a nut is seized, position a line wrench on the nut, and then apply force to the line wrench with a hammer or air hammer. Do not apply force directly on the nut.
Installation

Position the new LH rear rigid pipe on the LH rear brake caliper, and then use a crow’s foot socket to install the nuts (x2) that attach the pipe to the caliper (torque 18.5 Nm).
- Clean the area around the LH rear rigid pipe and brake caliper with brake cleaner, and then wipe off any residual brake cleaner.
- Bleed the brake caliper. See Bleed Procedure - One Caliper (Remove and Replace) .
