Remove

  1. Open all four doors
  2. Lower all 4 windows
  3. Open liftgate
  4. Remove parcel shelf
  5. Remove trunk load floor
  6. Remove LH rear C-pillar trim

  14. Release LH rear manual release cable from body

  15. Fold 2nd row seatbacks down

    Protect seat back from potential damage from seat frame by placing a fender cover between the seat backs and frame
  16. Release LH rear sill panel to gain access to lower B-pillar trim fastener

  17. Separate LH C-pillar mid from LH C-pillar lower

  18. Remove the mounting hardware for the LH lower C-pillar

  19. Use the air bag tool to push the LH lower C-pillar away from the body of the vehicle
  20. Remove LH lower C-pillar trim

  21. Disconnect the connector going to the C-pillar impact sensor

  22. Release drain tube from body

  23. Remove bolt securing LH 2nd row seatbelt assembly to body

  24. Remove bolts that secure LH seatbelt bracket to the body

  25. Release HV and trident harnesses from body

  31. Remove bolt that secure ground strap to body

  32. Remove LH rear wheelhouse absorber from vehicle

    Note
    Carefully lift the HV harness up and away from the body to gain access in between to release the rear wheelhouse absorber from the vehicle, Lift the rear wheelhouse absorber away from the body panel to clear the body studs

Install

  1. Install LH rear wheelhouse absorber into vehicle

    Carefully lift the HV harness up and away from the body to gain access to insert the rear wheelhouse absorber into position, Lift the rear wheelhouse absorber away from the body panel to clear the body studs
  2. Install bolt securing ground strap to body

    1x bolt, 10mm, 10 Nm
  3. Install connector to LH rear door latch assembly

    1x connector, Secure locking tab, Insert harness through the wheelhouse absorber
  4. Install closeout panel to body

  5. Install LH rear manual release cable onto body

    1x clip, Insert LH rear manual release cable through rear wheelhouse absorber
  6. Secure harness bracket to body

  7. Secure clips that secure the drain hose tube and body harness to body

  8. Install charge port ECU onto body
