Handle - Exterior Release - Door - (Identify Visually)
Correction Code 11451000
Note
If you can access to the Diagnostic
Closures Issues network, identify the external door handle using the Handle - Exterior Release - Door - (Identify with Autodiag)
procedure.
Procedure
-
Remove the door trim panel.

Front door trim panel
(refer to procedure)
.NoteIf present, do not detach the retention strap.
- Rear door trim panel (refer to procedure) .

Front door trim panel
(refer to procedure)
.
- Fully raise the door glass.

Remove the fasteners that attach the door
controller to the closeout panel (torque 1 Nm).
NoteIt is not necessary to disconnect the electrical connectors from the door controller.
- Tie the door controller aside.

Remove the fasteners that attach the closeout panel to the door (torque 4 Nm).

Visually inspect the door handle assembly and use the images below to identify the door handle assembly currently in the vehicle.
