Handle - Exterior Release - Door - (Identify Visually)

Note
If you can access to the Diagnostic Closures Issues network, identify the external door handle using the Handle - Exterior Release - Door - (Identify with Autodiag) procedure.

Procedure

  1. Remove the door trim panel.
  2. Fully raise the door glass.
  3. Remove the fasteners that attach the door controller to the closeout panel (torque 1 Nm).

    Note
    It is not necessary to disconnect the electrical connectors from the door controller.
  4. Tie the door controller aside.
  5. Remove the fasteners that attach the closeout panel to the door (torque 4 Nm).

  6. Remove the closeout panel.
  7. Visually inspect the door handle assembly and use the images below to identify the door handle assembly currently in the vehicle.
