1. Open charge port door

   

2. Perform inspection of charge port exterior
   注

   Carefully check for abnormal signs of damage or wear, If abnormal damage is found then components will require rectification, Escalate a toolbox session for assistance

   

   

3. Perform 15-minute AC charging test
   注

   Touch time onlyConfirm the vehicle charges without issues or faulting, When done testing remove charger cable

   

   

4. Open all four doors

6. Perform inspection and check for any alerts related to BMS, HVP, CP, or VCFront

7. Open liftgate

   

   

8. Lower all four windows

   

9. Move LH front seat forward
   注

   Adjust seat back if needed to avoid contacting headliner

   

10. Move 60 seat to easy entry position
    注

    Press shoulder switch then push seat forward

    

    

11. Partially remove lower portion of LH rear door seal

    

12. Remove LH 7s lower C-pillar trim
    注

    8x clips, Rear edge secures onto trunk side trim, Release front clips then rear clips

    

    

13. Move 60 seat to original position
    注

    Press shoulder switch then pull seat backward

    

14. Fold 2nd row 60 seatback down
    注

    Via seat switch or manual tether, Protect seat back upholstery if necessary

    

    

15. Disconnect 2nd row 60 seat connector
    注

    1x connector,

    

    

16. Move 60 seat forward using towel bar
    注

    With one hand on towel bar pull up and slide the seat forward with your other hand

    

    

17. Remove 60 seat rear outboard track fastener
    注

    1x patch bolt, 11mm, 37 Nm, Discard after removal

    

18. Remove 60 seat rear inboard track fasteners
    注

    2x patch bolts, 11mm, 37 Nm, Discard after removal

    

19. Move 60 seat fully rearward using towel bar
    注

    pull up bar, slide seat forward

    

20. Remove 60 seat outboard track cover
    注

    1x clip, Slide covers forward to release from 60 seat tracks

    

    

    

21. Remove center track cover from 2nd row seats
    注

    2x clips, Slide covers forward to release from 2nd row seat tracks

    

    

    

22. Release cabin carpet from 60 seat
    注

    Pull cabin carpet towards front of vehicle

    

    

23. Remove 60 seat front inboard track fasteners
    注

    1x bolts, 11mm, 37 Nm, Discard after removal

    

24. Remove 2nd row 60 seat frame front outboard track fasteners
    注

    1x bolts, 11mm, 37 Nm, Discard after removal

    

25. Remove 2nd row 60 seat assembly from vehicle
    注

    Recommend assistance, Note: If seat that is not being replaced does not have ISOFIX flag for child locks, the seat cover will also require replacement

    

    

26. Move RH front seat forward
    注

    Adjust seatback if needed to avoid contacting headliner

    

27. Move 60 seat to easy entry position
    注

    Press shoulder switch then push seat forward

    

    

28. Partially remove RH rear door seal
    注

    Pillar and sill trim have tabs seated underneath seal

    

29. Remove RH C-pillar lower trim
    注

    5x clips, Rear edge is mated with groove in trunk side trim, Release clips at front of LH Lower C-Pillar trim working your way back towards rear of sill trim, trim part may slightly differ by vehicle build location, and the number of clips may also varyt, by vehicle build location, Confirm each installation with push-pull test, Clip position should not be adjusted after bracket is removed or will result in bracket not seating properly, if clip position is changed or push-pull action shows bracket not secure, remove clip from tab and seat clip into doghouse on bracket and reinstall

    

    

30. Move 40 seat to original position
    注

    Press shoulder switch then pull seat backward

    

31. Fold 2nd row 40 seatback down
    注

    Via seat switch or manual tether, Protect seat back upholstery if necessary

    

    

32. Remove 40 seat outboard track cover
    注

    1x clip, Slide cover forward to release from 40 seat track

    

33. Remove bolts securing 40 seat podium to vehicle
    注

    2x patch bolts, 11mm, 37 Nm, Discard bolts after removal

    

34. Move 40 seat forward using towel bar
    注

    With one hand on towel bar pull up and slide the seat forward with your other hand

    

35. Remove bolts securing 40 seat inner and outer tracks to vehicle
    注

    2x patch bolts, 11mm, 37 Nm, Discard bolts after removal

    

36. Move 40 seat fully rearward using towel bar
    注

    pull bar, slide seat forward

    

37. Disconnect 2nd row 40 seat connector
    注

    1x connector, Newer models may have red locking tab

    

    

38. Remove 40 seat from vehicle
    注

    Recommend assistance, Do not support 40 seat by cushion pan, Support 40 seat by podium, Note: If seat that is not being replaced does not have ISOFIX flag for child locks, the seat cover will also require replacement

    

    

39. Remove 3rd row seat cushion
    注

    2x clips, 1x connector, 2x circular hooks, Press tabs backward then pull front edge up, Press rear seat cushion and lift the front seat cushion

    

    

    

    

    

40. Remove 3rd row LH seat cushion bolster
    注

    1x bolt, 11mm, 37 Nm, 1x location pin, 1x tab, Slide LH seat cushion bolster towards front of vehicle to remove

    

41. Remove 3rd row RH seat cushion bolster
    注

    1x bolt, 11mm, 37 Nm, 1x location pin, 1x tab, Slide RH seat cushion bolster towards front of vehicle to remove

    

    

    

42. Remove rear load floor

    

43. Remove trunk sill trim
    注

    4x clips

    

    

44. Release 3rd row LH seat backrest
    注

    Front switch at LH trunk trim panel

    

    

45. Release 3rd row RH seat backrest
    注

    Rear switch at LH trunk trim panel

    

    

46. Remove LH trunk pocket bracket
    注

    2x clips

    

    

    

47. Release remaining clips and remove LH 7s trunk side trim
    注

    1x push clip, 2x clip tabs, 4x Guide tabs

    

    

    

48. Release LH 7s trunk side trim and disconnect 12V outlet
    注

    4x clips, 7x tabs, 1x connectors

    

    

    

    

49. Remove LH upper C-pillar trim
    注

    7x clips, 5x datums, 2x tabs, 1x release cable, Release chargeport manual release cable from trim, Allow trim to rest on trunk floor

    

    

    

    

    

50. Open charge port door

    

51. Release LH side of 3rd row rear carpet
    注

    2x clips, 2x location pins, 1x bolt, H11, Lift trim to access bolt, Remove bolt then release carpet

    

    

    

    

52. Release RH side of 3rd row rear carpet
    注

    2x clips, 2x location pins, 1x bolt, H11, Lift trim to access bolt, Remove bolt then release carpet

    

    

    

    

53. Remove 3rd row rear cabin carpet

    

    

54. Open hood

    

    

55. Power off vehicle from center display
    注

    Via Controls > Safety > Power Off, Select Power Off button at warning dialogue box

    

    

56. Remove rear apron
    注

    16x trim clips, 3x datums, 2x clips

    

    

    

    

57. Remove HEPA filter assembly
    注

    2x bolts, 10mm, 10 Nm, Pivot rear edge up past brake reservoir then lift up to clear frunk assembly

    

    

    

    

58. Disconnect LV battery and first responder loop
    注

    2x connectors, Ensure that one minute has passed after window movement before performing the power-off, Release green locking tab, Press black tab then pull black connector lock outwards to release connection, Release red lock tab on FRL, Allow 2 minutes for all electrical circuits to fully discharge

    

    

    

    

    

59. Verify operation of multimeter
    注

    Set multimeter to DC voltage, Confirm multimeter is properly measuring voltage by testing the 16v battery

    

60. Remove 3rd row NVH insulator
    注

    1x connector, Disconnect connector then remove insulator

    

    

    

    

61. Install HVC logic cap
    注

    1x logic cap

    

62. Remove all items from pockets and ensure not wearing metal items

    

63. Inspect HV insulating gloves
    注

    Check gloves for damage prior to use, Refer to service document TN-15-92-003, for information on inspecting HV gloves. https://service.teslamotors.com/documents?model=&keys=TN-15-92-003&vehicle_system=&sort_by=field_date_submitted&sort_order=DESC

    

64. Put on HV insulating gloves and leather over gloves
    注

    Use HV cut resistant insulated gloves or HV insulating gloves and leather over gloves, HV Insulating gloves must be worn any time a Hioki Tester or Hi-Pot Tester is used, Refer to service document TN-15-92-003 R5 for PPE requirements depending on vehicle configuration.

    

65. Verify there is no high voltage present at the charge port
    注

    Make sure to wear PPE (HV gloves, safety glasses) when working on high voltage components, Measure B+ to B-, B- to Ground, and B+ to Ground (use rear left door striker as a ground for the test), If voltage is greater than 10V, Pack contactors are not open or welded, Stop work and reach out to Service Engineering

    

    

    

    

66. Perform isolation test at the charge port inlet
    注

    Perform 500v isolation test at the charge port inlet, Verify proper contact with test leads, Measure B+ to Ground, B- to Ground, Test results should be greater than 1 Mohms, If results are lower than 1 Mohms then components may be at fault, Escalate for assistance

    

    

    

    

67. Release connectors from charge port assembly
    注

    2x connectors, Remove white locking tab, Depress tab to release connection from the charge port, Continue to pull off connector, The charge port connection is intended to disengage safety cap when released, Do not push down on red tab, Pull red tab to disengage lock, Pull again to release connector

    

    

    

    

68. Remove charge port safety cap
    注

    2x tabs

    

69. Remove fasteners securing charge port busbar to charge port and remove busbar leads from studs
    注

    2x nuts, 10mm, 9 Nm, Nuts have captured washers

    

70. Perform inspection of busbar connection to charge port
    注

    Carefully check for abnormal signs of damage or wear, Use a mirror as required, Verify threads are not damaged, Verify corrosion or burn marks are not present, Verify there is no ingress of fluid or contamination, Verify presence of penetrox, Check all sides of the connections, If abnormal damage is found then components will require rectification, Escalate a toolbox session for assistance

    

    

    

71. Release positive LV output cover from PCS cable

72. Remove PCS cable from LV passthrough output

73. Remove bolts securing ancillary bay probe lid cover

    2x bolts, EP10 5-Lobe, 6 Nm, Discard after removal

    

74. Remove ancillary bay probe lid cover

    

    

75. Verify no high voltage
    注

76. Wipe ancillary bay cover with IPA to clean surface

    Allow to 1 minute dry time

    

77. Inspect ancillary bay probe lid cover gasket then position onto ancillary bay cover
    注

    Confirm no visual damage present, Wipe ancillary bay with IPA to clean surface, Allow to 1 minute dry time

    

    

78. Install bolts securing ancillary bay probe lid cover to ancillary bay cover
    注

    2x bolts, EP10 5-Lobe, 6 Nm, Install new bolts

    

79. Remove bolts securing ancillary bay cover to HVC
    注

    3x bolts, E10, 5 Nm + 30 degrees

    

80. Remove bolts securing ancillary bay cover to HV battery
    注

    18x bolts, E10 5-Lobe, 8 Nm, Use E10 5-Lobe socket without magnet, The fasteners are captive and will stay attached to the ancillary bay cover

    

    

81. Remove HVC logic cap
    注

    1x logic cap

    

82. Remove ancillary bay cover from HV battery

    

    

83. Install HVC logic cap

84. Inspect ancillary bay for any missing insulators
    注

    Install service insulator kit before continuing to next step

    

    

    

    

    

85. Remove bolts securing pyro disconnect to ancillary bay

    1x insulator, 2x patch bolts, 13mm, 9 Nm, Discard after removal

    

    

86. Remove pyro disconnect from ancillary bay
    注

    1x connector, From the bottom, Lift pyro disconnect straight up and out of the ancillary bay

    

    

87. Perform inspection of pyro disconnect
    注

    Visually inspect pyro for signs of tampering or damage,Inspect housing and confirmed it has not been openedConfirm pyro is an original Tesla part and has not been modifiedIf damage or tampering is found, Escalate a toolbox session for assistance

    

    

    

    

88. Install pyro disconnect dummy

    

89. Disconnect AC harness connector from PCS

    1x connector, Release the locking tab by pulling upward, May need plastic trim tool to help lift the connector upward

    

90. Remove AC Filter harness
    注

    1x connector, 1x clip, 2x bolts, 8mm, 4.5 Nm, Pass harness under PCS hose, Release red locking tab, Discard bolts after removal

    

    

    

    

    

91. Remove ancillary bay left terminals cover
    注

    2x tabs, 1x datum

    

    

92. Disconnect LV fastcharge contactor connector
    注

    1x connector, Press tabs on both sides by hand and disconnect the connector upwards

    

93. Disconnect mega harness connector from DC input assembly
    注

    1x connector

    

94. Remove ancillary bay harness clip around negative pack contactor area
    注

    3x clip

    

95. Remove insulator for DC input assembly to both fastcharge busbar inlet side
    注

    3x insulators

    

96. Remove bolt securing negative fastcharge busbar inlet side and negative DC input assembly busbar
    注

    1x patch bolt, 13mm, 15 Nm, Minus 180 degrees, 5 Nm + 60 degrees, Discard after removal

    

97. Remove bolt securing positive fastcharge busbar inlet side and positive DC input assembly busbar
    注

    1x patch bolt, 13mm, 15 Nm, Minus 180 degrees, 5 Nm + 60 degrees, Discard after removal

    

98. Remove bolts securing FC assembly to ancillary bay
    注

    2x bolts, 10mm, 5.5 Nm

    

99. Remove fastener securing busbar cover access door
    注

    1x bolt, 10mm, 9 Nm

    

100. Remove bolts securing charge port busbar kit to HV header
     注

     2x bolts, 10mm, 9 Nm

     

101. Perform inspection of charge port busbar connection to HV battery
     注

     Carefully check for abnormal signs of damage or wear, Use a mirror as required, Verify threads are not damaged, Verify corrosion or burn marks are not present, Verify there is no ingress of fluid or contamination, Verify presence of penetrox, Check all sides of the connections, If abnormal damage is found then components will require rectification, Escalate a toolbox session for assistance

     

     

     

102. Perform inspection of charge port busbar

     Perform visual inspection throughout the length of charge port busbar, Check for abnormal signs of damage or contamination, Check for signs of deformation, Move aside trim as needed, If abnormal damage is found then components will require rectification, Escalate a toolbox session for assistance

     

103. Release LH body harness from rear body and move aside
     注

     1x clip

     

104. Partially remove LH B-pillar lower trim
     注

     1x push clip

     

     

105. Partially pull out LH rear body harness

     

106. Lift busbar kit connector to remove from HV header
     注

     Use inflatable air bag to suspend busbar away from HV header during removal and installation, hold busbar firmly as there is tension on, Avoid damaging the harness bracket

     

107. Remove bolts securing busbar DC input assembly to ancillary bay
     注

     4x bolts, EP10 5-Lobe, 10 Nm, Discard after removal

     

     

108. Remove Busbar DC input assembly from ancillary bay

     

     

109. Remove FC assembly from ancillary bay
     注

     2x guide pins

     

     

     

110. Remove and discard FC insulator cover from FC assembly
     注

     8x clips, 1x alignment pin

     

     

     

111. Perform inspection of FC contactor fasteners and busbars
     注

     Locations 0300_001-0300_004, Perform visual inspection, Do not remove the busbar fasteners, Inspect for burn marks on the busbars/contactor, Carefully check for abnormal signs of damage or wear, If abnormal damage is found then components will require rectification, Escalate a toolbox session for assistanceRemoving the busbars is not required

     

     

112. Perform inspection of the DC input assembly and penthouse busbars where the FC contactor is bolted to
     注

     Carefully check for abnormal signs of damage or wear, Verify corrosion or burn marks are not present, Verify there is no ingress of fluid or contamination, Check all sides of the connections, If abnormal damage is found then components will require rectification, Escalate a toolbox session for assistance

     

     

113. Install new FC insulator cover to FC assembly

114. Position FC assembly to ancillary bay for installation

116. Install Busbar DC input assembly to ancillary bay

     Ensure seal is not damaged and seated properly

     

     

117. Install bolts securing Busbar DC input assembly to ancillary bay

     4x bolts, EP10 5-Lobe, 10 Nm, Install new bolts, Mark after torque

     

     

     

118. Install and torque bolt securing negative fastcharge busbar inlet
     注

     1x patch bolt, 13mm, 15 Nm, Minus 180 degrees, 5Nm + 60 degrees, Install new patch bolt, Mark after torque

     

119. Install and torque bolt securing positive fastcharge busbar inlet
     注

     1x patch bolt, 13mm, 15 Nm, Minus 180 degrees, 5Nm + 60 degrees, Install new patch bolt, Mark after torque

     

120. Perform Hioki resistance test at both HV joints of DC input assembly busbar
     注

     2x HV joints, 60μΩ or less, Test from negative fastcharge busbar to negative DC input busbar and positive fastcharge busbar to positive DC input busbar

     

     

     

     

121. Install insulator for DC input assembly to both fastcharge busbars inlet side
     注

     3x insulators

     

122. Connect mega harness connector to DC input assembly
     注

     1x connector

     

123. Install and torque bolt negative fastcharge busbar
     注

     1x patch bolt, 13mm, 15 Nm, Minus 180 degrees, 5Nm + 60 degrees, Install new patch bolt, Mark after torque

     

124. Perform Hioki impedance test negative HV joint fastcharge busbar DC link side
     注

     1x HV joint, 55μΩ or less

     

     

125. Install and torque bolt securing positive fastcharge busbar
     注

     1x patch bolt, 13mm, 15 Nm, Minus 180 degrees, 5Nm + 60 degrees, Install new patch bolt, Mark after torque

     

126. Perform Hioki impedance test positive HV joint fastcharge busbar DC link side
     注

     1x HV joint, 25μΩ or less

     

     

127. Install ancillary bay left terminals cover
     注

     2x tabs, 1x datum

     

     

128. Install harness clips to FC contactor cover
     注

     2x clips

     

129. Install ancillary bay harness clip around negative pack contactor area
     注

     1x clip

     

130. Connect LV fastcharge connector
     注

     1x connector, Secure locking tab, 1x harness clip

     

131. Connect mega harness connector to DC input assembly
     注

     1x connector

     

132. Install AC filter harness
     注

     1x connector, 1x clip, 2x bolts, 8mm, 4.5 Nm, Pass harness under PCS hose, Press down on red locking tab, Install new bolts

     

     

     

     

     

133. Clean HV connector contact surface of residual Penetrox
     注

     Allow 1 minute dry time, New busbar comes with penetrox applied to HV connector

     

134. Clean busbar HV connector contact surface of residual Penetrox
     注

     Allow 1 minute dry time after removing Penetrox, It is necessary to clean HV connector during re-use of busbar

     

135. Apply Penetrox onto HV connector joints
     注

     Apply 2 drops of Penetrox A-13 about 5mm in diameter to either side of the hole on both leads, Spread evenly to verify the contact surface is fully covered

     

     

136. Remove inflatable air bag from under HV header

     

137. Position busbar kit connector and lower onto HV header
     注

     Shift rear end of busbar assembly upward to help ease installation, If excessive force is required to seat busbars, they may have been bent. Inspect for damage and replace if necessary

     

138. Install bolts securing charge port busbar kit to HV header
     注

     2x bolts, 10mm, 9 Nm, Mark after torque

     

139. Perform Hioki resistance test at each HV joint from HV busbar lead to bolt head
     注

     2x HV joints, The acceptable resistance is between 0.050 mΩ (50 μΩ) and 0.195 mΩ (195 μΩ). If the resistance is greater than 0.195 mΩ (195 μΩ), stop work and escalate the Toolbox session. If the resistance is lower than 0.050 mΩ (50 μΩ), reposition the probes and measure again. If the resistance is repeatedly between 0.00 mΩ and 0.050 mΩ (50 μΩ), Hioki test passed, proceed to next step

     

     

140. Install fastener securing busbar cover access door
     注

     1x bolt, 10mm, 9 Nm

     

141. Clean charge port assembly busbar contact surface of residual penetrox
     注

     Use plastic trim tool to push IPA wipe down between plastic divider, Allow 1 minute dry time

     

     

142. Verify charge port studs are torqued to specification
     注

     2x studs, T10, 2 Nm

     

143. Apply Penetrox to backside of busbar leads
     注

     Apply 2 drops of Penetrox A-13 about 5mm in diameter to either side of the hole on both leads, Spread evenly to verify the contact surface is fully covered

     

144. Install charge port busbar leads to charge port assembly
     注

     2x nuts, 10mm, 9 Nm, Nuts have captured washers, If excessive force is required to seat busbars, they may have been bent. Inspect for damage and replace if necessary

     

145. Perform Hioki resistance test at each HV joint from HV busbar lead to charge port stud
     注

     2x HV joints, The acceptable resistance is between 0.050 mΩ (50 μΩ) and 0.270 mΩ (270 μΩ).If the resistance is greater than 0.270 mΩ (270 μΩ), stop work and escalate the Toolbox session.If the resistance is lower than 0.050 mΩ (50 μΩ), reposition the probes and measure again.If the resistance is repeatedly between 0.00 mΩ and 0.050 mΩ (50 μΩ), hioki test passed, proceed to next step.

     

146. Install charge port safety cap
     注

     2x tabs

     

147. Secure connectors onto charge port assembly
     注

     2x connectors, Install white locking tab, Engage red locking tab

     

148. Position LH rear body harness under LH lower C pillar trim

     

149. Install LH body harness onto rear body
     注

     1x clip

     

150. Partially install LH B-pillar lower trim
     注

     1x push clip

     

151. Partially install lower portion of LH C-pillar trim

     

152. Remove pyro disconnect dummy

     

153. Clean mating surface of pyro
     注

     Allow to 1 minute dry time, Use an IPA wipe to clean the HV mating surfaces of the shunt, Busbar, And the pyrotechnic battery disconnect

     

     

     

154. Set multimeter to "LoZ" (low impedance) mode

     

155. Measure voltage between busbar and shunt
     注

     Measure the voltage between the busbar (left) and shunt (right) for at least 10 seconds, so as to balance the voltage across the pyrotechnic battery disconnect mount points, Note: The voltage displayed on the multimeter is not as important as balancing the mount points

     

     

156. Position pyro disconnect to ancillary bay for installation
     注

     1x connector, While still measuring the voltage, Have an assistant position the pyrotechnic battery disconnect into the HV battery for installation. Make sure to align the pins of the connector with the new pyrotechnic battery disconnect, And then press the pyrotechnic battery disconnect down onto the busbars, The pyro disconnect can only be installed one way

     

     

     

     

157. Install bolts securing pyro disconnect to ancillary bay
     注

     2x patch bolts, 13mm, 9 Nm, Install new patch bolt, Mark with paint pen

     

158. Measure resistance from module 2 busbar to pyro disconnect
     注

     1x HV joint, 60μΩ or less, Perform zero adjust to Hioki meter prior to testing

     

     

159. Measure resistance from pyro disconnect to shunt
     注

     1x HV joint, 45μΩ or less, Perform zero adjust to Hioki meter prior to testing

     

     

160. Remove service insulator kit

     

     

     

     

161. Remove HVC logic cap
     注

     1x logic cap

     

162. Inspect ancillary bay walls for damage
     注

     Any dent or depression in the sealing surface that causes it to not be flat will result in a leak, Any paint that comes off the ancillary bay wall, Whether or not it sticks to the seal, Will require enclosure leak test when reassembled, It can still be reused

     

163. Inspect ancillary bay cover seal to confirm it has no visual damage
     注

     Image up close for clarity, Delaminated and torn seals cannot be reused

     

     

     

     

     

164. Wipe ancillary bay cover with IPA to clean surface
     注

     Ensure all accessible insulators are present, Wearing Electrical Protective Gloves is not necessary once all HV components are covered.

     

     

166. Remove leather over gloves and HV insulating gloves

     

167. Install bolts securing ancillary bay cover to HV battery
     注

     18x bolts, EP10 5-Lobe, 8 Nm, Fasteners are captive, Follow torque sequence per image

     

     

168. Install bolts securing ancillary bay cover to HVC
     注

     3x bolts, E10, 5 Nm + 30 degrees

     

169. Install positive LV output from PCS cable and torque nut securing it
     注

     1x nut, 13mm, 9 Nm, Install new nut, Mark the nut after torque

     

170. Install positive LV output cover to PCS cable
     注

     1x cover

     

171. Remove HVC logic cap
     注

     1x logic cap

     

172. Install 3rd row NVH insulator
     注

     1x connector, Install insulator then connect connector

     

     

     

     

173. Position 3rd row rear cabin carpet

     

     

174. Secure RH side of 3rd row rear carpet
     注

     2x clips, 2x location pins, 1x bolt, H11, Lift trim to access bolt, Secure carpet then install bolt

     

     

     

     

175. Secure LH side of 3rd row rear carpet
     注

     2x clips, 2x location pins, 1x bolt, H11, Lift trim to access bolt, Secure carpet then install bolt

     

     

     

     

176. Connect first responder loop and LV battery
     注

     2x connectors, Secure FRL first, Seat LV battery connection and push black connector lock inwards to secure, Engage green locking tab when fully seated

     

     

     

     

     

177. Install HEPA filter assembly
     注

     2x bolts, 10mm, 10 Nm, Pivot forward edge down past frunk assembly, Then carefully move rear edge past brake reservoir and into position, Gently press on RH side of filter to seat seal onto duct, Do not pinch washer hose inbetween HEPA filter assembly and body

     

     

     

     

     

     

178. Install rear apron
     注

     16x trim clips, 3x locator pins, 2x clips, Replace any missing or damaged clips, Ensure pyrotechnic hood actuators are aligned with openings in apron

     

     

     

179. Close hood

     

     

180. Install LH upper C-pillar trim
     注

     7x clips, 5x datums, 2x tabs, 1x release cable, Secure chargeport manual release cable to trim, Feed seat belt through the trim if removed, Seat trunk seal to edge of trim

     

     

     

     

181. Position LH 7s trunk side trim and install lower clips
     注

     1x push clips, 5x clips, Start by tucking the lower portion of the trunk side trim around the edge of the 3rd row LH backrest so it slides in and seats properly, Guide front clip stanchions around LH C-pillar

     

     

     

     

182. Install LH 7s trunk side trim
     注

     7x tabs, 4x clips, 1x location pin, 1x connector, Ensure to seat trunk seal to edge of trim

     

     

     

     

     

183. Install LH trunk pocket bracket
     注

     2x clips

     

     

     

184. Install LH trunk bracket
     注

     2x guide tabs, 2x clips, Confirm each installation with push-pull test, Clip position should not be adjusted after bracket is removed or will result in bracket not seating properly, if clip position is changed or push-pull action shows bracket not secure, remove clip from tab and seat clip into doghouse on bracket and reinstall

     

185. Install Trunk sill trim and seat back covers
     注

     4x clips, 2x location pins, 4x Retainer hooks (2x LH, 2x RH)

     

     

186. Raise 3rd row LH seat backrest to its original position
     注

     Manually raise backrest up to its original position until it locks into place

     

187. Raise 3rd row RH seat backrest to its original position
     注

     Manually raise backrest up to its original position until it locks into place

     

188. Install 3rd row LH seat cushion bolster
     注

     1x bolt, 11mm, 37 Nm, 1x location pin, 1x tab, Slide LH seat cushion bolster into seat frame complete

     

     

189. Install 3rd row RH seat cushion bolster
     注

     1x bolt, 11mm, 37 Nm, 1x location pin, 1x tab, Slide RH seat cushion bolster into seat frame complete

     

     

     

190. Install 3rd row seat cushion and connect harness
     注

     1x connector, Secure 3rd row seat cushion into RH and LH latches

     

     

191. Install rear load floor

     

192. Install 40 seat into vehicle
     注

     Recommend assistance, Do not support 40 seat by cushion pan, Support 40 seat by podium

     

     

193. Connect 2nd row 40 seat connector
     注

     1x connector,

     

     

194. Install bolts securing 40 seat podium to vehicle hand tight
     注

     2x patch bolts, 11mm, 37 Nm, Install new bolts, Torque at later step

     

195. Move 40 seat forward using towel bar
     注

     pull up bar, slide seat forward

     

196. Install bolts securing 40 seat inner and outer tracks to vehicle
     注

     2x patch bolts, 11mm, 37 Nm, Install new bolts

     

197. Move 40 seat to original position
     注

     Press shoulder switch then pull seat backward

     

198. Install cabin carpet to 40 seat

     

199. Torque bolts securing 40 seat podium to vehicle
     注

     2x patch bolts, 11mm, 37 Nm

     

200. Install center track cover to 2nd row seats
     注

     2x clip, Slide cover straight on to clip to 2nd row seat tracks

     

     

     

201. Install 40 seat outboard track cover
     注

     1x clip

     

202. Position 40 seat into easy entry mode
     注

     Press shoulder switch and push 40 seat forward

     

     

203. Install RH rear sill trim
     注

     4x tabs, 3x clips, 5x location pins, Install rear edge of RH rear sill trim into trunk side trim and work your way forward securing clips

     

     

204. Reseat RH rear door seal
     注

     Seat pillar and sill trim tabs underneath seal

     

205. Move 40 seat to original position
     注

     Press shoulder switch then pull seat backward

     

206. Move RH front seat to original position

     

207. Install 2nd row 60 seat assembly
     注

208. Connect 2nd row 60 seat connector
     注

     1x connector,

     

     

209. Install fasteners securing 60 seat frame to body
     注

     5x patch bolts, 11mm, 37 Nm, Install new patch bolts, bottom seat bolts located in rear

     

     

     

     

210. Secure cabin carpet to 60 seat
     注

     Strap velcro on

     

     

211. Return 2nd row 60 seatback to vertical position
     注

     Via trunk seat switch, Remove seatback protection if necessary

     

     

212. Install 60 seat outboard track cover
     注

     1x clip

     

     

     

213. Position 60 seat into easy entry mode
     注

     Press shoulder switch and push 60 seat forward to position into easy entry mode

     

     

214. Install LH 7s lower C-pillar trim
     注

     8x clips, Rear edge is secures onto trunk side trim, Secure rear clips then front clips

     

     

215. Reseat LH rear door seal
     注

     Seat pillar and sill trim tabs underneath seal

     

216. Move 60 seat to original position

     

217. Move RH front seat to original position

     

218. Move LH front seat to original position

     

219. Raise all four windows
