Cover - Lower Latch - Door - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open the LH falcon wing door.
  2. Apply masking tape around the LH rear door lower latch cover to mark the position of the latch.
  3. Remove and discard the screws (x2) that attach the LH rear door lower latch cover to the vehicle, and then remove the cover from the vehicle.
    22 Nm (16.2 lbs-ft)

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • T30 socket

Install

  1. Position the LH rear door lower latch cover into the vehicle, and then install new screws (x2) that attach the cover to the vehicle.
    22 Nm (16.2 lbs-ft)

    Note
    Make sure the latch cover lines up with tape marks.

    • T30 socket
  2. Remove the masking tape around the LH rear door lower latch cover.
  3. Close the LH falcon wing door.
  4. Check the gap and flush measurements and adjust as necessary.
