Actuator - E Release - Door - Front - LH (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the front windows.
  2. Remove the LH front door trim decor. See Decor - Trim - Front Door - LH (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the LH front door trim panel. See Panel - Door Trim - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the LH front door E-release actuator.
  5. Release the clips (x3) that attach the LH front door E-release actuator to the LH front door closeout panel, remove the release cable from the actuator, and then remove the actuator from the vehicle.

Install

  1. Install the release cable into the LH front door E-release actuator, position the actuator onto the LH front door closeout panel, and then install the clips (x3) that attach the actuator to the closeout panel.
  2. Connect the electrical connector to the LH front door E-release actuator.
  3. Install the LH front door trim panel. See Panel - Door Trim - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  4. Install the LH front door trim decor. See Decor - Trim - Front Door - LH (Remove and Replace).
  5. Raise the front windows and close the LH front door.
