Sensor - Level - Windshield Washer Reservoir (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
  3. Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the LH underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - LH (Remove and Replace).
  5. Remove the LH front wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
  6. Remove the LH front wheel arch liner. See Wheel Arch Liner - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  7. Disconnect the windshield washer reservoir level sensor electrical connector.
  8. Remove the windshield washer reservoir level sensor from the windshield washer reservoir, and then allow the washer fluid to drain.
  9. Inspect the windshield washer reservoir level sensor seal for damage. Replace the seal if any damage is found.

Install

  1. Position the windshield washer reservoir level sensor into the vehicle, and then install the sensor into the windshield washer reservoir.

    Note
    Align the square edge with the mark on the reservoir housing.
  2. Connect the windshield washer reservoir level sensor electrical connector.
  3. Install the LH front wheel arch liner. See Wheel Arch Liner - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  4. Install the LH front wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
  5. Install the LH underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - LH (Remove and Replace).
  6. Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  7. Fill the windshield washer reservoir until the fluid level is visible just below the filler neck.
  8. Close the hood.
  9. Remove the vehicle from the lift. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
  10. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
