Liftgate Drain - LH (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the lower liftgate trim. See Trim - Liftgate - Lower (Remove and Replace).
  2. Disconnect the rear liftgate cinch actuator electrical connector.
  3. Remove the bolts (x3) that attach the cinch actuator, and then set the cinch actuator aside.

    10 mm. Torque 3 Nm.
  4. Push the liftgate drain through the hole back into the liftgate.
  5. Disconnect the liftgate drain tube from the catch basin, and then remove the drain from the vehicle.

Install

  1. Connect the liftgate drain tube to the catch basin.

    Note
    Make sure the end of the drain tube that connects to the catch basin is fully connected.
  2. Install the liftgate drain push end of the drain tube through bottom of liftgate hole.
  3. Connect the cinch actuator electrical connector, and then install the bolts (x3) that attach the cinch actuator.

  4. Install the lower liftgate trim. See Trim - Liftgate - Lower (Remove and Replace).
