Trim - Upper - Liftgate (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Open the liftgate.
  3. Remove the lower liftgate trim. See Trim - Liftgate - Lower (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the liftgate speaker grille. See Grille - Speaker - Liftgate (Remove and Replace).
  5. Release the clips (x10) that attach the upper liftgate trim to the liftgate, and then remove the trim from the liftgate.

    Take note of any damaged clips.

Install

  1. Position the upper liftgate trim onto the liftgate, and then secure the clips (x10) that attach the trim to the liftgate.

  2. Install the liftgate speaker grille. See Grille - Speaker - Liftgate (Remove and Replace).
  3. Install the lower liftgate trim. See Trim - Liftgate - Lower (Remove and Replace).
  4. Close the liftgate.
  5. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
