Remove
- Open the LH front door and lower the front windows.
- Remove the LH rear door trim lower garnish. See Garnish - Lower - Door Trim - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the LH rear door trim decor. See Decor - Trim - Rear Door - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the LH rear door trim panel. See Panel - Door Trim - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Set LH Falcon door at a comfortable working height
- Disconnect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
- Release the orange locking tab, and then disconnect the LH falcon wing door air bag electrical connector.

Remove the screws (x10) that attach
the LH rear door closeout panel to the LH rear door.1.8 Nm (1.3 lbs-ft)NoteUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T25 socket

Remove the screws (x3) that attach the
LH rear window motor to the LH rear door closeout panel.1.8 Nm (1.3 lbs-ft)NoteUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T30 socket
- Release the tabs (x2) that attach the LH rear door closeout panel to the LH rear door, pull the closeout panel away from door, and then lift the window motor upward to release it.
- Release the black locking tab, and then disconnect the LH falcon wing door protection ECU.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors (x2) from the LH falcon wing door module.
- Release the clips (x7) that attach the harnesses and connectors to the LH rear door closeout panel.
- Release the clip, and then feed the door release cable through the LH rear door closeout panel.
- Disconnect the LH rear door close switch.
- While holding the connector portion of the LH door mounted rear door switch retainer, rotate the black prongs counterclockwise to loosen the assembly. Remove the assembly through the exterior of the LH rear door.
Install
- Position the LH door mounted rear door switch retainer into the LH rear door. While holding the connector portion of retainer, rotate the black prongs clockwise to secure the assembly.
- Connect the LH rear door close switch.

Feed the door release cable through
the LH rear door closeout panel, and then secure the clip.
NoteLubricate the cable grommet to aid in installation.
- Position the LH rear door window motor onto the back of the closeout panel, and then secure the tabs that attach the motor to the closeout panel.

Install the screws (x3) that attach
the LH rear window motor to the LH rear door closeout panel.1.8 Nm (1.3 lbs-ft)NoteUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T30 socket

Install the screws (x10) that attach
the LH rear door closeout panel to the LH rear door.1.8 Nm (1.3 lbs-ft)NoteUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T25 socket
- Connect the LH falcon wing door protection ECU electrical connector, and then engage the locking tab.
- Connect the LH falcon wing door air bag electrical connector, and then engage the orange locking tab.
- Connect the electrical connectors (x2) to the LH falcon wing door module.
- Install the clips (x7) that attach the harnesses and connectors to the LH rear door closeout panel.
- Install the LH rear door trim panel. See Panel - Door Trim - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Install the LH rear door trim decor. See Decor - Trim - Rear Door - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Install the LH rear door trim lower garnish. See Garnish - Lower - Door Trim - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Connect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
- Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).

Calibrate the rear doors.
NoteIf the "Calibration Needed" message appears on the vehicle touchscreen, touch and hold Calibrate to calibrate the rear doors
- Raise the front windows and close the LH front door.
