Pop Actuator - Front Door - LH (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the front windows.
  2. Remove the LH front door trim decor. See Decor - Trim - Front Door - LH (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the LH front door trim panel. See Panel - Door Trim - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the bolts (x8) that attach the LH front door closeout panel to the door assembly.
    1.8 Nm (1.3 lbs-ft)
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 8 mm socket
  5. Disconnect the LH front door pop actuator electrical connector.
  6. Remove and discard the bolts (x2) that attach the LH front door pop actuator to the LH front door assembly, and then remove the actuator from the assembly.
    10 Nm (7.4 lbs-ft)
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • T30 socket

Install

  1. Position the LH front door pop actuator into the LH front door assembly, and then install new bolts (x2) that attach the actuator to the assembly.
    10 Nm (7.4 lbs-ft)
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • T30 socket
  2. Connect the LH front door pop actuator electrical connector.
  3. Install the bolts (x8) that attach the LH front door closeout panel to the LH front door assembly.
    1.8 Nm (1.3 lbs-ft)
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 8 mm socket
  4. Install the LH front door trim panel. See Panel - Door Trim - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  5. Install the LH front door trim decor. See Decor - Trim - Front Door - LH (Remove and Replace).
  6. Raise the front windows and close the LH front door.
