Noise Filter - Ground - Antenna (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the lower liftgate trim. See Trim - Liftgate - Lower (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the liftgate speaker trim. See Grille - Speaker - Liftgate (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the liftgate upper trim. See Trim - Upper - Liftgate (Remove and Replace).
  4. Disconnect the antenna ground noise filter electrical connector.
  5. Remove the bolt and release the retaining clip that attach the antenna ground noise filter to the liftgate, and then remove the noise filter from the liftgate.
    4 Nm (2.9 lbs-ft)

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T30 socket

Install

  1. Position the antenna ground noise filter into the liftgate, and then install the bolt and secure the retaining clip that attach the noise filter to the liftgate.
    4 Nm (2.9 lbs-ft)

  2. Connect the antenna ground noise filter electrical connector.
  3. Install the liftgate upper trim. See Trim - Upper - Liftgate (Remove and Replace).
  4. Install the liftgate speaker trim. See Grille - Speaker - Liftgate (Remove and Replace).
  5. Install the lower liftgate trim. See Trim - Liftgate - Lower (Remove and Replace).
