Bright Strip - Center Console - Rear (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the center console air wave assembly. See Air Wave Assembly - Center Console (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the screws (x6) that attach the rear center console bright strip to the center console, and then remove the bright strip from the center console.

    Note
    Release the datums and rotate the brightwork up and out of the center console.

    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 bit
    • Torx T10 bit

Install

  1. Position the rear center console bright strip onto the center console, and then install the screws (x4) that attach the bright strip to the center console.
    0.7 Nm (6 lbs-in)

    Note
    Rotate the bright work down into the center console, and then engage the datums.

    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T10 bit
  2. Install the screws (x2) that attach the rear center console bright strip to the center console.
    1 Nm (.7 lbs-ft)

  3. Install the center console air wave assembly. See Air Wave Assembly - Center Console (Remove and Replace).
