1. Open LH front door
2. Lower LH and RH front windows
3. Open RH front door
4. Move RH front seat backward

   

5. Open hood
   Note

   Via center display > Controls > Frunk Open

   

   

6. Power off vehicle via center display
   Note

   Controls > Safety & Security > Power Off

   

7. Remove rear underhood apron
   Note

   11x clips, 2x datums

   

   

8. Disconnect LV battery connector and First Responder Loop
   Note

   2x connectors, Lift up and release green locking tab, Pull black connector lock outwards to release connection, Release red lock tab on FRL

   

   

   

9. Remove RH underhood apron
   Note

   11x clips, 2x datums, Remove brush clip at hinge cover first, Take note of clip at headlamp

   

   

   

   

10. Remove LH underhood apron
    Note

    11x clips, 2x datums, Remove brush clip at hinge cover first, Take note of clip at headlamp

    

    

    

    

11. Remove front underhood apron
    Note

    12x clips, 3 datums

    

    

12. Remove frunk access panel
    Note

    3x clips, 3x hooks, 1x connector

    

    

13. Remove frunk carpet

    

    

14. Remove frunk assembly
    Note

    8x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm

    

    

15. Remove RH front floor mat

    

16. Remove RH footwell cover
    Note

    3x magnets, 1x connector, 4x datums

    

    

17. Remove RH console side carpet
    Note

    11x clips, 2x datums

    

    

18. Remove RH front sill plate
    Note

    5x clips

    

19. Remove RH IP end cap
    Note

    3x clips

    

20. Remove RH mid A-pillar trim
    Note

    1x clip, 1x locating clip

    

21. Remove RH lower A-pillar trim
    Note

    1x bolt, T25, 5 Nm, 2x clips

    

22. Fold RH front cabin carpet aside for access

    

23. Release harness from RH footrest panel
    Note

    1x clip

    

24. Release RH footrest panel
    Note

    2x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm, 2x nut, 10mm, 5 Nm

    

25. Remove RH footrest panel
    Note

    Fold RH primary support carpet up, Rotate RH footrest panel out of vehicle

    

    

26. Release connector to gaming MCU
    Note

    1x connector, Depress lock on underside of connector before pulling out of socket, Possible damage to PCBA may occur if removed without releasing lock first

    

    

    

27. Release connector to connectivity module
    Note

    1x connector, Move release lock rearward before removal

    

    

28. Release connections at LH side of entertainment motherboard
    Note

    6x connectors, Release locks on connectors before removal

    

    

29. Release connections at LH side of AP motherboard
    Note

    7x connectors, Release locks on connectors before removal

    

    

30. Release connectors at RH side of entertainment motherboard
    Note

    6x connectors, Release locks on connectors before removal

    

    

31. Release connectors at RH side of AP motherboard
    Note

    3x connectors, Release locks on connectors before removal

    

    

32. Install coolant hose clamps to coldplate hoses
    Note

    2x hoses, Place coolant absorbent mats or rags around the car computer

    

    

33. Release coolant hoses from car computer coldplate assembly
    Note

    2x spring locks, Install coolant plugs at both hoses and car computer

    

    

34. Remove car computer from vehicle
    Note

    2x bolts, 10mm, 7 Nm, 1x nut, 10mm, 8 Nm, Remove any residual coolant from vehicle

    

    

35. Install car computer to vehicle
    Note

    2x bolts, 10mm, 7Nm, 1x nut, 10mm, 8Nm

    

    

    

36. Secure coolant hoses to car computer coldplate assembly
    Note

    2x spring locks, Place coolant absorbent mats or rags around the car computer, Remove coolant plugs, Ensure spring locks engage and perform pull-push-pull test on each hose coupling

    

37. Remove coolant hose clamps
    Note

    2x hoses, Remove absorbent material, Clean residual fluid, Inspect for leaks

    

    

    

38. Install connectors at RH side of AP motherboard
    Note

    3x connectors

    

    

39. Install connectors at RH side of entertainment motherboard
    Note

    6x connectors

    

    

40. Install connections at LH side of AP motherboard
    Note

    7x connectors

    

    

41. Install connections at LH side of entertainment motherboard
    Note

    6x connectors

    

    

42. Install connector to connectivity module
    Note

    1x connector, Slide lock underneath connector

    

    

43. Install connector to gaming MCU
    Note

    1x connector, Confirm connector locked into socket

    

    

44. Remove coolant bottle cap

    

45. Inspect coolant level and top off as necessary
    Note

    Ensure that the fluid level is at the Max line, Top off fluid as required

    

    

46. Connect the First Responder Loop and LV battery connector.
    Note

    2x connectors, Secure FRL first, Seat LV battery connection and push black connector lock inwards to secure, Engage upper locking tab when fully seated

    

    

47. Install RH footrest panel
    Note

    Rotate RH footrest panel into vehicle, Fold RH primary support carpet down

    

    

48. Secure RH footrest panel
    Note

    2x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm, 2x nut, 10mm, 5 Nm

    

49. Secure harness to RH footrest panel
    Note

    1x clip

    

50. Fold RH main carpet back into place

    

51. Install RH footwell cover
    Note

    3x magnets, 4x datums, 1x connector

    

    

52. Install RH lower A-pillar trim
    Note

    1x bolt, T25, 5 Nm, 2x clips

    

53. Install RH mid A-pillar trim
    Note

    1x clip, 1x locating clip, Verify weather seal is seated properly

    

54. Install RH IP end cap
    Note

    3x clips

    

55. Install RH front sill plate
    Note

    5x clips

    

56. Install RH front floor mat

    

57. Move RH front seat to original position

    

58. Raise RH front window

    

59. Close RH front door
60. Perform a cooling system check and fill. See Cooling System (Partial Refill and Bleed).
61. Install frunk assembly
    Note

    8x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm

    

    

    

62. Install frunk carpet
    Note

    Verify carpet is properly seated under the seal

    

    

63. Install frunk access panel
    Note

    3x clips, 3x hooks, 1x connector

    

    

64. Install front underhood apron
    Note

    12x clips, 3x datums

    

    

65. Install LH underhood apron
    Note

    11x clips, 2 datums

    

    

    

66. Install RH underhood apron
    Note

    11x clips, 2x datums

    

    

    

67. Install rear underhood apron
    Note

    11x clips, 2x datums

    

    

68. Close hood

    

69. Calibrate the rear doors.
    Note

    If the "Calibration Needed" message appears on the vehicle touchscreen, touch and hold Calibrate to calibrate the rear doors.
70. Raise LH front window

    

71. Close LH front door
