Remove
- Remove the front passenger instrument panel duct. See Duct - Instrument Panel - Front Passenger (Remove and Replace).
 - Remove the RH panel actuator. See Actuator - Duct - Footwell - RH (Remove and Replace).
 - 
          Remove the screws (x2) that attach the
            defrost actuator to the HVAC assembly, and then release the actuator from the
              assembly.
2.3 Nm (1.7 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- Torx T20 socket
 
 - 
          Disconnect the defrost actuator
            electrical connector, and then remove the actuator from the vehicle.
          
 
Install
- 
          Position the defrost actuator into the
            vehicle, and then connect the electrical connector.
          
 - 
          Position the defrost actuator into the
            HVAC assembly, and then install the screws (x2) that attach the actuator to the
              assembly.
2.3 Nm (1.7 lbs-ft)NoteThe actuator is keyed to HVAC assembly. Align the actuator before installing the screws.TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- Torx T20 socket
 
 - Install the RH panel actuator. See Actuator - Panel - RH (Remove and Replace).
 - Install the front passenger instrument panel duct. See Duct - Instrument Panel - Front Passenger (Remove and Replace).
