Striker - Door - Front - LH (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the front windows.
  2. Use masking tape to mark the position of the LH front door striker on the body.
  3. Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the LH front door striker to the body, and then remove the striker from the vehicle.
    22 Nm (16.2 lbs-ft)

    • T40 socket

Install

  1. Position the LH front door striker into the vehicle, and then install the bolts (x2) that attach the striker to the vehicle.
    22 Nm (16.2 lbs-ft)

  2. Close the LH front door and verify the door position.
  3. Open the LH front door.
  4. Adjust the LH front door striker position and verify fitment.
  5. Torque the bolts (x2) that attach the LH front door striker to body.
    22 Nm (16.2 lbs-ft)

  6. Remove the masking tape from the body.
  7. Raise the front windows and close the LH front door.
