Diffuser - Rear Fascia (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Raise the vehicle. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
  2. Remove the mid aero shield panel. See Panel - Aero Shield - Rear (Remove and Replace)
  3. Remove the screws (x2) and release the tabs (x10) that attach the tow hitch cover to the rear fascia diffuser, and then remove the cover from the vehicle.
  4. Remove the bolts (x14) and push clips (x4) and release the tabs (x8) that attach the rear fascia diffuser to the vehicle, and then remove the diffuser from the vehicle.
    5 Nm (3.7 lbs-ft)

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10mm socket

Install

  1. Position the rear fascia diffuser into the vehicle, and then install the bolts (x14) and push clips (x4) and secure the tabs (x8) that attach the diffuser to the vehicle.
    5 Nm (3.7 lbs-ft)

  2. Position the tow hitch cover into the rear fascia diffuser, and then install the screws (x2) and secure the tabs (x10) that attach the cover to the vehicle.
  3. Install the mid aero shield panel. See Panel - Aero Shield - Rear (Remove and Replace)
