Hose - Inverter Inlet - Front Drive Unit (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the HV battery. See GUID-65FFB969-8F73-4244-9703-87D1242BBC7E.html.
  2. Remove the bolts (x3) that attach the LH toeboard brace to the vehicle, and then remove the brace from the vehicle.
    30 Nm (22.1 lbs-ft)

    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 15 mm socket
  3. Position a coolant drain container under the front of the vehicle to catch the vehicle coolant.
  4. Release the hose clip that attaches the front drive unit inverter inlet hose to the front drive unit inverter, release the hose from the front drive unit, and then plug male and female fittings.
  5. Release the hose clip that attaches the front drive unit inverter inlet hose to the RH underhood sill hose, release the inlet hose from the sill hose, and then plug male and female fittings.
  6. Release the clips (x3) that attach the front drive unit inverter inlet hose to the front drive unit, and then remove the hose from the front drive unit.

Install

  1. Position the front drive unit inverter inlet hose to the front drive unit, and then secure the clips (x3) that attach the hose to the front drive unit.
  2. Remove the hose plugs, install the front drive unit inverter inlet hose to the RH underhood sill hose, and then secure the hose clip.

    Perform push-pull-push test to make sure the hose is secure.
  3. Remove the hose plugs, install the front drive unit inverter inlet hose to the front drive unit inverter, and then secure the hose clip.

  4. Remove the coolant drain container from underneath the vehicle.
  5. Position the LH toeboard brace into the vehicle, and then install the bolts (x3) that attach the brace to the vehicle.
    30 Nm (22.1 lbs-ft)
