Hose - Powertrain Supply - HV Battery to Supermanifold (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
  2. Remove the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Install).
  3. Remove the cowl screen panel. See Panel - Cowl Screen (Remove and Replace).
  4. Disconnect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
  5. Remove LV battery. See Battery - LV (Remove and Replace).
  6. Remove the front aero shield. See Panel - Aero Shield - Front (Remove and Replace).
  7. Remove the front skidplate. See Skidplate - Front (Remove and Replace).
  8. Place a coolant catcher under the LH front of the vehicle.
  9. Release the clip, disconnect the powertrain supply hose from the HV battery, then immediately plug both fittings.

    Note
    1x hose clip, 2x plugs, Plug both ends
  10. Remove the coolant catcher from under the vehicle.
  11. Lower the vehicle fully.
  12. Release the clip that attaches the powertrain supply hose to the 3 way valve.
  13. Disconnect the the powertrain supply hose sensor.

    Note
    Do not push down on the red tab, pull the red tab to disengage lock, then pull again to disconnect the connector.
  14. Release the clip, disconnect the powertrain supply hose from the supermanifold, then immediately plug both fittings.
  15. Remove the powertrain supply hose from the vehicle.

    Maneuver between the battery pump hose and multisystem beam assembly.

Install

  1. Remove the plugs, immediately connect the the powertrain supply hose to the supermanifold, then fasten the clip.

    Note
    Perform a push-pull-push test on the fittings to make sure that they are secure.
  2. Connect the powertrain supply hose sensor.
  3. Fasten the clip that attaches the powertrain supply hose to the 3 way valve.
  4. Raise the vehicle to a comfortable working height
  5. Position the coolant catcher under the front of the vehicle.
  6. Remove the plugs, immediately connect the powertrain supply hose to HV battery, then fasten the clip.

    Note
    Perform a push-pull-push test on the fittings to make sure that they are secure.
  7. Wipe off any residue, then remove the coolant catcher from under the vehicle.
  8. Install the front skidplate. See Skidplate - Front (Remove and Replace).
  9. Install the front aero shield. See Panel - Aero Shield - Front (Remove and Replace).
  10. Install LV battery. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
  11. Install the cowl screen panel. See Panel - Cowl Screen (Remove and Replace).
  12. Perform the cooling system (partial refill and bleed) procedure. See Cooling System (Partial Refill and Bleed).
  13. Install the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Install).
  14. Remove the vehicle from the 2 post lift. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
