Handle - Emergency Release - Liftgate (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the liftgate lower trim. See Trim - Liftgate - Lower (Remove and Replace)
  2. Remove a small amount of the butyl patch, release the locking tab and Velcro strap, and then release the liftgate emergency release handle from the liftgate.

Install

  1. Reapply the small butyl patch, move the liftgate emergency release handle into position, and then secure the locking tab and Velcro patch.
