Remove
- Raise and support the vehicle on a 2 post lift. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
 - Remove the LH rear wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
 - 
          Release the clip that attaches the air
            lines to the LH rear flexible brake hose bracket.
          
 - 
          Remove the bolt that attaches the LH
            rear flexible brake hose to the LH rear lower aft link.
6 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- 10 mm socket
 
 - 
          Position the oil drain container
            underneath the LH rear corner of the vehicle.
          
 - 
          Remove the banjo bolt that attaches
            the LH rear flexible brake hose to the LH rear brake caliper.
42 Nm (31.0 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- 11 mm deep socket
 
NoteCatch any brake fluid lost in the oil drain container. - 
          Disconnect the LH rear jounce hose
            from the LH rear flexible brake hose.
16 Nm (11.8 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- 12 mm combination wrench.
 
NoteCatch any brake fluid lost in oil drain container. - 
          Remove the clip that attaches the LH
            rear jounce hose to the bracket.
          
 - 
          Remove the LH rear flexible brake hose
            from the vehicle.
          NoteMake sure proper routing behind the rear stabilizer bar link.NoteDiscard the brake hose.NoteCrush washer cannot be reused.
 
Install
- 
          Position the LH rear flexible brake
            hose to the vehicle.
          NoteMake sure proper routing behind the rear stabilizer bar link.NoteBrake hose cannot be reused.
 - 
          Install the clip that attaches the LH
            rear jounce hose to the bracket.
          
 - 
          Connect the LH rear jounce hose to the LH rear flexible brake hose.
16 Nm (11.8 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- 12 mm combination wrench.
 
NoteCatch any brake fluid lost in oil drain container. - 
          Install the banjo bolt that attaches the LH rear flexible brake hose to the LH rear
            brake caliper.
42 Nm (31.0 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- 11 mm deep socket
 
NoteCatch any brake fluid lost in the oil drain container. - 
          Remove the oil drain container from
            underneath the vehicle.
          
 - 
          Install the bolt that attaches the LH rear flexible brake hose to the LH rear lower
            aft link.
6 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- 10 mm socket
 
 - 
          Fasten the clip that attaches the air lines to the LH rear flexible brake hose
            bracket.
          
 - Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
 - Bleed the brakes. See Brake Fluid Bleed/Flush (Remove and Replace).
 - Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
 - Install the LH rear wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
 - Hold brake pedal and shift into Park on the touchscreen to disable EPB service mode.
 - 
          Perform a road test to ensure proper
            brake pedal feel and performance.
