Bracket - Catcher - 2nd Row Seat - LH (6 Seat) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open all the doors and lower the front windows.
  2. Remove the LH 2nd row seat assembly from the vehicle. See Seat Assembly - 2nd Row - LH (Without 2nd Row Bench Seats) (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the LH 2nd row seat slider. See Slider - Seat - 2nd Row - LH (6 Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  4. Slide the magic carpet to the rear of the assembly, and then remove and discard the bolts (x4) that attach the magic carpet to the LH 2nd row seat catcher bracket.
    3.5 Nm (2.6 lbs-ft)

    Note
    The plastic washers (x4) will be reused during installation.

    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T30 socket
  5. Lift the magic carpet upward to remove it from the LH 2nd row seat catcher bracket.

Install

  1. Install the magic carpet onto the LH 2nd row seat catcher bracket.

    Note
    Align the access holes for bolt installation.
  2. Install new bolts (x4) and washers that attach the magic carpet to the LH 2nd row seat catcher bracket.
    3.5 Nm (2.6 lbs-ft)

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T30 socket
  3. Install the LH 2nd row seat slider. See Slider - Seat - 2nd Row - LH (6 Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  4. Install the LH 2nd row seat assembly into the vehicle. See Seat Assembly - 2nd Row - LH (Without 2nd Row Bench Seats) (Remove and Replace).
  5. Raise the front windows and close all the doors.
