Mirror - Rear View (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the lower camera cover. See Camera Cover - Lower (Remove and Replace).
  2. Disconnect the rear view mirror electrical connector.
  3. Holding the stalk that connects the rear view mirror to the mount, rotate the mirror counter-clockwise to remove it from the camera assembly.

    CAUTION
    Do not rotate the mirror by holding the mirror itself; it will separate from the stalk.

Install

  1. Position the rear view mirror onto the camera assembly, and then rotate the rear view mirror clockwise to install it to the assembly.

    CAUTION
    Hold the stalk that connects the mirror to the mount to rotate. Do not rotate the mirror by holding the mirror itself; it will separate from the stalk.
  2. Connect rear view mirror electrical connector, and then tuck the harness slack along the arm.
  3. Install the lower camera cover. See Camera Cover - Lower (Remove and Replace).
