Tesla Badge - Front (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door.
  2. Lower the LH front window.
  3. Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the LH and RH underhood aprons. See Underhood Apron - LH (Remove and Replace).
  5. Remove the front underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Front (Remove and Replace).
  6. Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the front tesla badge to the vehicle, and then remove the badge from the vehicle.

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
    • Torx T25 socket

Install

  1. Position the front tesla badge on the vehicle, and then install the bolts (x2) that attach the badge to the vehicle.
    1.8 Nm (1.3 lbs-ft)

  2. Install the front underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Front (Remove and Replace).
  3. Install the LH and RH underhood aprons. See Underhood Apron - LH (Remove and Replace).
  4. Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  5. Close the hood.
  6. Raise the LH front window.
  7. Close the LH front door.
