Fascia Assembly - Rear - Lower (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the rear fascia assembly from the vehicle. See Fascia Assembly - Rear (Remove and Install).
  2. Release the park assist harness from the rear lower fascia.
  3. Remove the screws (x4) that attach the upper rear fascia assembly to the lower rear fascia assembly.
    5 Nm (3.7 lbs-ft)

    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
  4. Release the tabs (x21) that attach the upper rear fascia assembly to the lower rear fascia assembly, and then remove the upper assembly from the lower assembly.
  5. Remove the trailer hitch cover. See Cover - Trailer Hitch (Remove and Replace).
  6. Remove the bolts (x6) that attach the lower rear fascia to the rear diffuser.
    5 Nm (3.7 lbs-ft)

  7. Release the tabs (x8) that attach the lower rear fascia to the rear diffuser.
  8. Remove the LH and RH rear reflex lamps. See Lamp - Reflex - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).

Install

  1. Install the LH and RH rear reflex lamps. See Lamp - Reflex - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
  2. Position the lower rear fascia to the rear diffuser, and then secure the tabs (x8).
  3. Install the bolts (x6) that attach the lower rear fascia to the rear diffuser.
    5 Nm (3.7 lbs-ft)

    • 10 mm socket
  4. Remove the trailer hitch cover. See Cover - Trailer Hitch (Remove and Replace).
  5. Position the upper rear fascia assembly onto the lower rear fascia assembly, and then secure the tabs (x21) that attach the upper assembly to the lower assembly.
  6. Install the screws (x4) that attach the upper rear fascia assembly to the lower rear fascia assembly.
    5 Nm (3.7 lbs-ft)

  7. Install the clip that attaches the park assist harness to the rear lower fascia.
  8. Install the rear fascia onto the vehicle. See Fascia Assembly - Rear (Remove and Install).
