Trim - Liftgate Trough - LH (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the LH liftgate stop. See Stop - Liftgate - LH (Remove and Replace).
  2. Release the tab that attaches the LH side of the rear fascia liftgate trough garnish to the vehicle.

    Note
    Lift up on the outer section where the upper trough and lower trough meet. Use caution to prevent damage to the trough trim.
  3. Release the clip and adhesive strips (x5) that attach the LH liftgate trough trim to the vehicle, and then remove the trim from the vehicle.

Install

  1. Use IPA wipes to clean and remove adhesive residue from the body.

    Note
    Allow 1 minute of dry time.
  2. Remove the adhesive backing, position the LH liftgate trough trim onto the vehicle, and then secure the clip and adhesive strips (x5) that attach the trim to the vehicle.

    Partially lift the main seal for better access.
  3. Secure the tab that attaches the LH side of the rear fascia liftgate trough garnish to the vehicle.

    Verify the trim is flush to the rear fascia and body.
  4. Install the LH liftgate stop. See Stop - Liftgate - LH (Remove and Replace).
