Cup Holder - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the center console lower rear panel assembly. See Panel - Lower Rear - Center Console (Remove and Replace).

    Note
    It is not necessary to remove components from the panel assembly after removal from the center console.
  2. Remove the screws (x6) that attach the 2nd row cup holder assembly to the center console.
    1 Nm (.7 lbs-ft)

    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 bit
  3. Release the clips (x3) that attach the 2nd row cup holder assembly to the center console, and then pull the assembly straight downward and rotate out of the center console lower frame.
  4. Disconnect the rear center console USB hub electrical connector, and then remove the cup holder assembly from the center console.
  5. Release the tabs (x4) that attach the rear center console USB hub to the 2nd row cup holder assembly, and then remove the hub from the assembly.

Install

  1. Position the rear center console USB hub into the 2nd row cup holder assembly, and then secure the tabs (x4) that attach the hub to the assembly.
  2. Position the 2nd row cup holder assembly to the center console, and then connect the rear center console USB hub electrical connector.
  3. Secure the clips (x3) that attach the 2nd row cup holder assembly to the center console.

    Note
    Position the datums, and then rotate the assembly up into the rear center console frame.
  4. Install the screws (x6) that attach the 2nd row cup holder assembly to the center console.
    1 Nm (.7 lbs-ft)

  5. Install the center console lower rear panel assembly. See Panel - Lower Rear - Center Console (Remove and Replace).
