Harness - Fascia - Rear (HW3) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the front windows.
  2. Remove the rear fascia assembly from the vehicle. See Fascia Assembly - Rear (Remove and Install).
  3. Release the connector locks, and then disconnect the rear fascia harness from the parking assist sensors (x6).

    CAUTION
    DO NOT push down on the red locking tab. Pull the tab away from the connector until the connector is unlocked, and then continue pulling to release the connector.
  4. Release the connector lock, and then disconnect the LH rear BLE electrical connector. Repeat this step for the RH rear BLE.

    CAUTION
    DO NOT push down on the red locking tab. Pull the tab away from the connector until the connector is unlocked, and then continue pulling to release the connector.

  5. Release the clips (x7) and double sided tape brackets (x4) that attach the rear fascia harness to the upper rear fascia assembly, and then remove the harness from the assembly.

Install

  1. Position the rear fascia harness onto the upper rear fascia assembly, and then secure the clips (x7) and double sided tape brackets (x4) that attach the harness to the assembly.

    Note
    Install new double sided tape brackets.
  2. Connect the LH rear BLE electrical connector, and then engage the locking tab. Repeat this step for the RH rear BLE.

  3. Connect the rear fascia harness to the parking assist sensors (x6), and then engage the locking tabs.
  4. Install the rear fascia assembly from the vehicle. See Fascia Assembly - Rear (Remove and Install).
  5. Raise the front windows and close the LH front door.
